It appears the Chiefs were targeting a running back on waivers Saturday and Sunday, but they weren't able to land one, and so they're resorting to Spiller as a No. 3 back behind Kareem Hunt and Charcandrick West. The Chiefs would still be smart to look into Jonathan Williams or Jeremy Langford, who were both cut Sunday. Those waiver moves would be processed on Monday.
