What is it about him that Andy Reid doesn't understand? Yes, we can blame the players, we can blame our injuries, we can blame Alex Smith for becoming a "game manager" once again. But the fact of the matter is Tomlin appears to have Andy's number, and I just wanna know what he can do to level the playing field as we move forward? What would you do if you were him?

Chiefs O-line was bad today.  Can't blame Reid if three starters are out on the line.  Not sure if Reid had the right LBs playing or not, but Sorenson was a disaster at safety.  Gaines still seems lost and whiffed on the interception, or at least knock down, at a critical time.  Bottom line?  Reid doesn't have the horses to match up with Bell and Brown, just as many of us predicted.  Gotta get the O-line back together or there will be plenty more losses.

I think Andy came in thinking the gimmicky plays that have worked well would work again vs Pittsburgh.  it seemed like Pitts studied all our offensive formations and knew everything we were gna do. They really studied our game film and Andy failed to adjust.

Our D was destroyed, no question about it and Sutton officially earned this loss.  he was DREADFUL

Pitts defensive zone scheme neutralizes us and what we do. Tony romo commented on this. Heard this on 810am.

NE rips through a zone defense. Brady will rip them this year again. Our man beater offensive scheme struggles against the zone. Pittsburgh had 3 or 4 blown coverages. One in the 1st half where Alex missed DAT completely wide open. The safety miss read it. He instead through incomplete to Tyreek being doubled. There are plenty of throws Smith missed. A couple to Robinson and one overthrow to Kelce. Understandably, his other two targets Wilson and Conley were out. Alex needs to build that trust with D-Rob. Guy can ball just look at preseason.

pitt has a great defense, and our injuries on offense prevented us from matching up with them

simple as that

our defense played well today, with the exception of gaines' bonehead play

Yep only 17 points allowed

They should work out bowman

Chiefs have a serious run D problem. It’s been like this all year. Correct it and we’re in the SB once Nelson is back

Trying to be subtle with this group.

Yes, he should play right away.

Knowing Reid and Sutton they won’t bring in Bowman. They’re going to be confident with the shit we saw today and try to correct it with their coaching and cute schemes.

I’ll tell you right now if Bowman joins the Chiefs and plays next to DJ, this D will be nothing but scary & great. Not just good, but great. Something it hasnt been since the 2013 reg season

If Reid has any sense, he'll start devising a plan of how to beat the Steelers RIGHT NOW. Put all the chips on the table and make sure you have a surprise for them when the playoffs arrive. But the question is, can Andy go against his own philosophy/instincts in order to get the win? That's what I'm not sure about.

I genuinely think that Reid/Smith duo is incapable of beating or competing against Tomlin. This was one of the worst Chiefs offensive performance in years and might be the worst of this era. For some reason they regress way too much.

This is why Andy needs to put plans together months before we (hopefully) make the playoffs and face Tomlin again. The two issues would obviously be...How do we stop Bell and how can we get our offence into the game? When you have three games where you fail to get even twenty points on the board, then it's time to come with something new otherwise the Steelers will just repeat their usual tactics. We simply MUST hit them with something they won't be expecting.

Definitely. In today's NFL no team should be too tough to put up 20 points once in 3 games. More importantly Steelers are moving in the wrong direction this year compared to other seasons yet Chiefs never looked like a capable NFL offense during the game.
