PhataLerror 370
Sometimes you have to sell your future to keep the quarterback of today, especially when he's playing at a high level. And really, what has Garoppolo proven? Sound familiar?
xen 1,010,220
Meh. The Patriots QB of today has more Superbowl rings than can fit on one hand. What has our qb of today proven?

And really, what has Garoppolo proven? Sound familiar? You're not actually comparing our situation to the defending Super Bowl Champions and Tom Brady with his 5 rings, and a QB we traded up to get at number 10 vs an Eastern Illinois QB taken late in the second round. Are you?

reesebobby 5,662
If I was gay, I'd certainly kick the tires on Alex. But he's no Tom Brady on the football field.

Mloe68 1,521
Shocking thing here is that the 49ers seemed to be a heavy favorite to benefit from the Redskins complete mishandling of Cousins.

He's proven he can beat the Patriots QB in NE...Not many could do that which is significant for the potential of playing NE again this season. Beyond that it doesn't likely matter, its Mahomes team. DieHard 2,061
Pats traded away 2 NFL starters this year. With a 40 yo QB, that surprises me. Is Brady going to play forever? Maybe so.

Bellicheat doesn't care. As soon as Brady hangs them up so will he. Without Brady, he'd be exposed
DieHard 2,061
Wow, that is probably spot on. Didn’t really consider that. It is the only thing that makes sense. We are in a league of subpar QBs. After Brees, Peyton, Rogers and Brady are gone, what is there? Mariota could be there. Philly’s QB could be there. But as far as the 28-32 yeah old guys, who is there? Mat Ryan (although personally don’t think he is in that class) is a worthy guy. But there is a drought of super stars coming. Well, until Mahomes starts.
