Iceman57 12
So I'm watching Monday Night Football, and early into the game, I see Byron Maxwell back on the Seattle defense that helped put his name on the map. The Chiefs had the same shot at signing Maxwell that Seattle did, but opted not to address upgrading the CB position. It wasn't until Richard Sherman got injured that Seattle finally signed Maxwell, leaving the Chiefs ample time to sign him. But no, Brett Veach and Bob Sutton seemed to think that the secondary is just fine, even after benching Terrence Mitchell for Kenneth Acker, and sprinkling in Phillip Gaines there, now that Steven Nelson is back at the Nickel CB. Why on Earth would the Chiefs not even kick the tires on Maxwell knowing how bad the CB play has been?!
sith13 1,746
Don't know how Maxwell or some other CB would turn out for the Chiefs but at this point every option should be tested instead of Gaines. The guy is writing NFL history with a new low every other week.

DefensiveMan 758
Yeah Seattle still gave up almost 40 pts at home.
Iceman57 12
Yeah Seattle still gave up almost 40 pts at home. For starters, 1 of Atlanta's TDs was by a fumble returned for a TD. And alot of the big passing plays were on Richard Sherman's replacement. They kept showing Sherman's face after his backup gave up a big catch, which was against Julio Jones. And it wasn't 40 points, it was 34.
artsy 1,137
Yea, and it's not like they don't have a few injuries on that defense... We have one guy injured on our defense....And we suck big, fat, stinkin ass!
Dablueguy 0
Maxwell was horrid in every stop, including last night back with Seattle. Waste of time. Just go back to Mitchell. He's by far the best option between Acker, Gaines, and him, but he seems to be 3rd on that list.

Dablueguy 0
Here's a guy we should be interested in, assuming his head is on straight and he checks out in PED investigations. Falcons cut Jalen Collins Posted by Michael David Smith on November 21, 2017, 4:22 PM EST Getty Images The Falcons are saying goodbye to a talented but troubled cornerback. Jalen Collins has been released, the Falcons announced. Collins hasn’t played at all this season and his 10-game suspension for a second violation of the league’s PED policy just came to an end. Collins will now be available on waivers to any team that wants him, and it seems likely that some team will want him: He’s a good player, even if the Falcons decided he was more trouble than he was worth. He played in eight games for the Falcons last year, with six starts, and was a second-round pick in 2015. The team that claims Collins will get him on Wednesday and can play him immediately, so he might help some team down the stretch. Just not the Falcons. Palangi 788
But if he panned out. Him and Peters would be a nice combo. Take the chance

True, but you never know when/if a knucklehead finally gets scared straight. With Justin Houston, it was at the combine. Since we're down draft choices, assuming the proper investigation is done, he's the type of player, young, talented, at a position of need, that we'd have trouble getting unless we took a chance. sith13 1,746
We are way down the waiver order and I'm guessing some other team claims him but Chiefs should still make a move. If he got his head straight a talented youngster would help a lot at CB, if not we can just release him.

Palangi 788
One thing to remember about Jalen Collins is that he is from Kansas City, Mo. Maybe coming home would be a good thing for him?
