So why not let him do something unbelievable now, before the Chiefs become the victims of the latest inconceivable plunge from 5-0 to out of the playoffs. He becomes a free agent and hopefully gets an average contract that will bring in a 4th or 5th in 2019. He sure doesn't have any trade value at this point. Wasted 1st round pick. Dorsey always drafted next years replacement player vs an impact guy we need to win this year. Unfortunately he saw his mistake and kept Hali. But, oh well. I think most everyone here is realistic on Smith's weaknesses and strengths and hope for the best for the Chiefs and are optimistic for the future QB.
