In this sense, it’s all political, per se, but it makes perfect sense. Why would any team trade for Alex at this point? I think the Chiefs won't bench him because Reid is stubborn and probably still believes the Chiefs have some sort of chance in the postseason. He is getting released after the season. Still think he is in for a few more losses. Maholmes should be starting. They don't have a anything to lose. The defense has done it's job the last few weeks.
