sith13 1,746 Posted December 21, 2017 Share Posted December 21, 2017 I think Ragland is a decent 3-4 ILB even in passing downs but they don't seem to be favoring him in sub packages which is what we do in most 3rd downs. He's basically going through his rookie season so even though he may be physically capable they might want him to learn more about the position. He is more of a run stopper 1-2 down ILB, but with our scheme Sutton would never have him out there anyway on 2nd and 3rd down, obvious passing downs. Since the Dallas game hes gone with a more traditional nickel with 2 LB on the field instead of dropping Sorenson down into the box.
