FANATIC 852
Love his more basic approach. See whats working and stay with until the defense stops it. . Doesnt kill drives with a , REID EGO DRIVEN , trick play calls. Not as much jet sweep stuff. Smaller focused game plan has improved the execution on the field. Ran the ball on third a 6 at the goal line so even if it failed it still worked the clock down with a 13 point lead and 4 minutes to go. Knows how to get the ball to HUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please Andy keep your playcalling in your history book. Time to give it up forever!
moons314 2,463
He runs the ball and doesn’t get cute. Will stretch the field with play action. He’s the anti Reid. If Reid were stilling calling plays it’d be jet sweeps and bubble screens.
DieHard 2,061
It is more basic and effective. Although so was Andy early on when we were blocking. I think the change has as much to due with Oleg be improvement as it does philosophy.
Lamardirts 2,114
I agree the going back to more basic concepts seems to allow our talent to play to their full potential. You should not be able to effectively cover 3 studs on an offense, and Nagy has been calling some marvelous drives.
qnet 1,150
If that's really what it is, then I'm all for it.
sith13 1,746
If the playcalling switch has been done after the Giants game as advertised then I'm all for keeping Nagy as the OC. We are not doing anything special just basic football and it has been working great. No need to waste time with the weird plays. Also I think Chiefs are legitimate deep ball threats with Hill which means defensed cannot just crowd the box.
Mloe68 1,521
Andy Reid was at the very least heavily involved in a lot of those plays by the way.
Holmes4six! 972
The best thing about this is Reid has time to make sutton gets his shit together. This has been important
BroncoStud 3,253
Reid losing the play-calling duties probably saved the KC season.

dksww 484
Reid "giving up play-calling" to Nagy has been a breath of fresh air. I think it's helped Reid manage the clock and defense more as well. Please for the love of God, get on a hot streak and make noise in the playoffs. Watch Andy with his play card during the game and tell me he isn't heavily involved there. We went down this road last year as well. I think he's mixing it up. Chiefmanzada 466
That TE pass from Kelce during the Giants game is what officially did it for me. It’s just childish
