sith13 1,746 Posted January 8, 2018 Share Posted January 8, 2018 The team that led the entire game ran for a total of 16 times, 4 of which aren't really run plays but qualify as such. That's a guaranteed recipe for loss and Chiefs seemed to be really focused on losing the game. I'm guessing we would find a way to lose with Mahomes on the field as well. Where there's will there's a way. Chiefs have been terrible every single game they abandoned the run this season and offense was very productive every time the run game was given the right emphasis. IMO the focus should be to determine if the coaching staff is able to understand this situation, if they cannot analyze it there's a bigger issue to resolve.
