When the eagles really needed a sack, they moved Brandon Graham inside. I can't see Sutton ever making those kinds of bold moves. Unless you call the Sorensen thing bold.

Again it’s like people don’t pay attention. Sutton did this and Dee Ford got a sack. Houston was also lined up inside.

Sutton has been doing this every year guys

Makes you wonder why he didn't more often then?

Because it's not a valid option in every situation.. it pretty much has to be a known passing down.. if the would have run it up the gut you have a rush end trying to take on the responsibility of an interior dl. You think our rushing defense was bad this year? Would've been much worse if Sutton was constantly switching the allignment

Bob Sutton - 50%

Injuries - 30%

Players - 20%

 - Until either Bob Sutton changes and puts CB1 (Peters) against WR1 regardless of which side they're on, or we get 2 shutdown corners, we will be doomed to repeat what happened this season.

 - Injuries to Berry, Ford, and Hali (although his age was just as big of difference), eliminated our QB pressure and a large portion of our pass defense.

 - When you have players that are too old and too slow (Hali, DJ, and Revis) on the field, you are going to get burnt.  Add to that an entire secondary that can't tackle, and anything that happens beyond the line of scrimmage is going to end up being a big play since no one can run down anyone and tackle them.

You really don't need multiple shut down corners, only a few competent corners to play with Peters. Keep in mind Bob Suttons defense excelled his first three seasons here. We were top 5 in sacks, turnovers created and scoring defense. And then the talent level got old and we never replaced Sean Smith (who's solid, but hardly a shutdown guy).
