xen 1,010,220
Actually if it weren't for Ozzie Newsome and his Bama love, with dire need at WR, I wouldn't have ruled out Ridley falling out of the first round. A bit older and didn't have the best numbers. I'm sure they will explore it, but I don't think they will go through with it Depends on how far he falls. Not sure he would see it as that cost prohibitive to move to late in the first.

liquidfriend 1,151
(maybe) Final one: 1. New York Giants (f/CLE) - Sam Darnold, QB USC -The Giants send picks 2+34 plus a 2019 2nd to the Browns for #1- The Giants absolutely know that Eli Manning is nearly finished, and they are rumored to be all in on Sam Darnold. It's a fair price to pay if they get the top QB and another 15 years of high end QB play. 2. Buffalo Bills (f/CLE,NYG) - Sam Darnold, QB USC -The Bills send both firsts and a 2019 first to the Browns for #2- The Bills are absolutely going to take whatever it's going to take to get the one of the top QB's. They go all in for a long-term answer, which they see with Josh Rosen. The Browns feel there isn't a lot of separation between QB's 1-4 and will gladly take the mega haul and still get a QB. They now already have an extra 1+2 for 2019--John Dorsey is very capable of turning all these picks into a powerhouse team. Look out AFC North! 3. New York Jets (f/IND) - Josh Allen, QB Wyoming The Jets are known to be completely in love with Josh Allen. lolJets 4. Cleveland Browns - Baker Mayfield, QB Oklahoma The Browns get a mega return from the #1 pick and still land the QB that John Dorsey liked the most. 5. Denver Broncos - Saquon Barkley, RB Penn State John Elway probably runs this card up as fast as he can. Barkley is the best overall talent in the draft, and I can't see Denver turning that down. He's capable of carrying that Offense until they figure out what to do at QB. 6. Indianapolis Colts (f/NYJ) - Bradley Chubb, DE North Carolina State The Colts get a massive haul to move down and still get their top player. 7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Quenton Nelson, OG Notre Dame The Bucs get a probable All-Pro to protect their investment at QB that's looking shaky. 8. Chicago Bears - Tremaine Edmunds, OLB Virginia Tech The Bears need a guy opposite of Floyd. 9. Cleveland Browns (f/MIA) - Mike McGlinchey, OT Notre Dame -The Browns pair up the 12th pick with the 2019th 2nd rounder they just got from NY for 9- The Browns know they have no realistic replacement for Joe Thomas and know the Raiders want McGlinchey badly. They part with one of the many picks they have to get their blindside guy. 10. Oakland Raiders - Vita Vea, NT Washington The Raiders hope they've just found a much needed run plugger. 11. Miami Dolphins - Derwin James, S Florida State The Dolphins hope they've just landed a player like Eric Berry here. 12. San Francisco 49ers (f/CLE,BUF,CIN) - Minkah Fitzpatrick, DB Alabama The 49ers slide down and still get their top guy. They are rumored to really like Fitz. 13. Washington Redskins - Da'Ron Payne, DL Alabama The Redskins direly need a guy that can play 0 for them and well. 14. Green Bay Packers - Denzel Ward, CB Ohio State Ward somehow slides this far down and the Packers are excited about it. 15. Arizona Cardinals - Josh Jackson, CB Iowa The Cardinals take a long, hard look at Lamar Jackson and opt to take another Jackson instead. After looking things over more, Lamar doesn't seem like a great fit in Mike McCoy's offense. 16. Baltimore Ravens - Calvin Ridley, WR Alabama The Ravens direly need a WR and Ozzie can't help but take Bama guys. 17. San Angeles Chargers - Roquan Smith, LB Georgia The Chargers scoop up a sideline to sideline clean up player that gives them flexibility to be more aggressive at blitzing. 18. Atlanta Falcons (f/SEA) - Taven Bryan, DT Florida -The Falcons package a 1+3 for the 18th pick- The Falcons start feeling there's no chance Bryan lasts to their original slot, while the Seahawks have so many holes that they take what they can get in a trade. 19. Dallas Cowboys - Jaire Alexander, CB Louisville The Cowboys nab another corner for a young talented trio. 20. Detroit Lions - Marcus Davenport, Edge UTSA The Lions grab someone to play across from Ziggy. 21. Cincinnati Bengals (f/BUF)- James Daniels, C Iowa The Bengals wisely let Bodine walk away, so now they can upgrade. 22. Cleveland Browns (f/BUF,KC) - Courtland Sutton, WR SMU The Browns will be looking to move on from disappointing Corey Coleman. 23. New England Patriots (f/LAR) - Leighton Vander Esch, LB Boise State Pats start to rebuild the front 7. 24. Carolina Panthers - Sam Hubbard, DE Ohio State Panthers need to rebuild its edge rusher situation. 25. Tennessee Titans - Harold Landry, DE/OLB Boston College The Titans need to get better on the edge for the bend but don't break D. 26. Seattle Seahawks - Isaiah Wynn, OL Georgia It's a good thing he can play many spots, because Seattle needs help at many spots. 27. New Orleans Saints - Lamar Jackson, QB Louisville Brees has about 2 years left, max, so it's time. 28. Pittsburgh Steelers - Rashaan Evans, ILB Alabama Gotta replace Shazier. 29. Jacksonville Jaguars - D.J. Moore, WR Maryland The Jaguars grab another weapon!!! for Bortles lmaoblakebortles 30. Minnesota Vikings - Maurice Hurst, DT Michigan Vikings need to replace Floyd. 31. Dallas Cowboys (f/NE) - Will Hernandez, OG UTEP -Cowboys send 2nd rounder+2019 1st to NE for 31- Jerruh moves back up to fill the biggest hole on the Offense, LG. Do not trade with Billy. 32. Philadelphia Eagles - Christian Kirk, WR Texas A&M The Eagles continue to add to its aggressive passing attack.
liquidfriend 1,151
33. Cleveland Browns - Michael Hughes, CB UCF Cleveland continues to add to its secondary. 34. Cleveland Browns (f/NYG) - Ronnie Harrison, S Alabama And again. Poopers blows. 35. Cleveland Browns (f/HOU) - Harrison Phillips, DT Stanford To wrap up the 3 pick spree, they add an interior rusher. 36. Indianapolis Colts - Orlando Brown, OT Oklahoma The Colts gamble with Brown because they are in dire need of an upgrade from Castonzo. 37. Indianapolis Colts (f/NYJ) - Donte Jackson, CB LSU They need help at CB. 38. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Ronald Jones, RB USC The Bucs replace muscle hamster. 39. Chicago Bears - Kolton Miller, OT UCLA The Bears need to upgrade from Massie at RT and Miller should be an ideal RT in the NFL. 40. Denver Broncos - Mason Rudolph, QB Oklahoma State The Broncos miss out on a QB at 5, but come back to fill a need here. Paxton Lynch is a lost cause in Denver and Case Keenum could revert back to a pumpkin. Horseface needs a Plan B if his swan goes back to an ugly duck. Fuck Denver. 41. Oakland Raiders - Hayden Hurst, TE South Carolina Jared Cook has been a major disappointment signing for the Raiders, so it's back to the drawing board. Hurst should make that position a lot more competitive. 42. Miami Dolphins - Mike Gesicki, TE Penn State If they can't move on from Tannehill yet, they should at least give him weapons? 43. New England Patriots (f/SF) - Mark Andrews, TE Oklahoma With Bennett cut and Gronk threatening retirement, Belichick looks to add another possible Hernandez (minus the murder) to add something into the stable. Andrews will get used in a lot of ways with Cooks sent off to LA. 44. Washington Redskins - Kerryon Johnson, RB Auburn The Redskins need to improve it's god awful running game if they want Alex Smith to succeed. 45. Green Bay Packers - Equanimeous St. Brown, WR Notre Dame They're going to give Rodgers something early. 46. Cincinnati Bengals - Darius Leonard, LB South Carolina State I think the Bengals are sick of Burfict's shit and will aim to move him between the end of the draft and the trade deadline. 47. Kansas City Chiefs (f/AZ) - Justin Reid, S Stanford The Chiefs move up right in front of the Chargers to nab their starting FS 48. Los Diego Chargers - Carlton Davis, CB Auburn The Chargers are tired of depending on Verrett and will grab the future with Reid gone. 49. Indianapolis Colts - Isaiah Oliver, CB Colorado Colts double up on corners. 50. New England Patriots (f/DAL) - James Washington, WR Oklahoma State Billy grabs a go to go for Brady. 51. Detroit Lions - Nick Chubb, RB Georgia The Lions pair Chubb with Blount for a new rushing attack. 52. Baltimore Ravens - Billy Price, OL Ohio State The Ravens take a steal with Price to replace Jensen at Center. 53. Buffalo Bills - DJ Chark, WR LSU The Bills are finally on the board again and start off by opting to add another WR since Zay Jones went fucking insane. 54. Arizona Cardinals (f/KC) - Terrell Edmunds, S Virginia Tech They decided to let HB go, so they will need another utility kind of guy to replace him. 55. Carolina Panthers - Nick Nelson, CB Wisconsin The Panthers gave up some huge plays in the WC loss to the Saints. 56. Buffalo Bills - RJ McIntosh, DL Miami Kyle Williams has maybe 1 year left, so will be time to groom his replacement. 57. Tennessee Titans - Jesse Bates, S Wake Forest The Titans big FA acquisition at Safety a year ago hasn't lived up to expectations, which is a problem when you implement a Cover 3 system. 58. Atlanta Falcons - Braden Smith, G Auburn The Falcons biggest renaming hole happens to be at Guard. 59. San Francisco 49ers - Brian O'Neill OT Pittsburgh 49ers give more protection for Jimmy Grapes 60. Pittsburgh Steelers - Arden Key DE/OLB LSU The Steelers add another edge rusher with Dupree being an uncertain. 61. Jacksonville Jaguars - J.C. Jackson, CB Maryland Jaguars add another slot corner. 62. Minnesota Vikings - Jamarco Jones, OT Ohio State They could use an upgrade at RT. 63. New England Patriots - Martinas Rankin, OT Miss State The Patriots have to address LT at some point. 64. Cleveland Browns - Sony Michel, RB Georgia Michel gets lost in a hectic 2nd rounder, but finally comes off the board here to form a duo with Carlos Hyde. xen 1,010,220
Mayfield may be the only qb picked high in this draft to end up worth a damn. And even that depends on where he goes. He'll need a really good qb coach and play caller.
liquidfriend 1,151
I think Rosen will work out, as long as he works on speeding up his decision making+release and responds well to an NFL weight program. I'm probably more optimistic on Darnold surviving Cleveland, as long as John Dorsey gets Hue Jackson the fuck out of there. I'm probably one of the more optimistic ones about Lamar Jackson at all. I think in the right spot he has the ability to be the best QB in this draft. Baker? I really don't know. His childish antics on the field really need to come down a lot if he ever stands a chance to becoming a locker room leader. The shit he pulled at OU will get his ass beat in the NFL. His foot work is absolutely atrocious and I question his arm when it comes to attempting more challenging NFL throws. A lot of his deep passes really sailed on him and NFL db's are going to eat that shit up unless he somehow lands his own Hopkins. I think being a Big XII QB and that Offensive scheme makes him look a lot better than he actually is. I just didn't really see him make throws like I have seen other top end QB prospects make. If it weren't for the fact that Josh Allen is also in this draft, he'd be my least favorite prospect of the group. Josh Allen, yikes. There just isn't enough there to make me consider pulling a trigger in the Top 10. I could see a later 1st because the risk isn't very high like once before, but if you're shitty enough to be in the Top 10.....you really need to get that pick right. Can't afford to miss on nothing but potential.

liquidfriend 1,151
Since I botched the top 5 (lol), I'll go ahead and reform my first round. Also doing some major adjustments after talking with an insider. 1. Denver Broncos (f/CLE) - Sam Darnold, QB USC -Broncos send 1+3, 2019 1st to Cleveland for 1- The word I get is the Broncos are still in the QB market and Elway is completely in love with Sam Darnold, and they're trying to keep it close to their vest. Elway knows he has to get this right or he's gone, so if he has one last chance to get it right he might as well go for pick of the litter. With Keenum around for 2 years, it gives them time to groom up Darnold to eventually take over. 2. Buffalo Bills (f/NYG) - Josh Rosen, QB UCLA -Bills package both firsts and a 2nd round pick to the Giants for 2- The Bills are absolutely coming away from this draft with a new QB and there's a lot of rumor abound that the Giants have a preliminary agreement with them. Rosen is the most natural thrower and can compete for a starting role immediately. 3. New York Jets (f/IND) - Josh Allen, QB Wyoming The Jets have been known to be completely in love with Josh Allen. 4. Cleveland Browns - Baker Mayfield, QB Oklahoma This has been the long rumored target for the Browns, but credit to them for completely muddying up the field to get the trade market active. Dorsey was in love with Mayfield before taking the Browns job, and McClellan is also in love with Baker. 5. Cleveland Browns - Saquon Barkley, RB Penn State The Browns move down once, but still land both their targets. They now have a loaded rushing attack. 6. Indianapolis Colts - Bradley Chubb, DE North Carolina State They move down 3 spots, still get their guy. A win for Ballard, who direly needs them. 9. San Francisco 49ers - Derwin James, S Florida State 49ers get the BPA. 10. Oakland Raiders - Mike McGlinchey, OT Notre Dame Gruden knows they have to get better protection for Carr if they want to win, so they will go McGlinchey here. 11. Miami Dolphins - Vita Vea, DT Washington They have to replace Suh. 12. New York Giants (f/BUF) - Denzel Ward, CB Ohio State Gotta replace DRC. 13. Washington Redskins - Da'Ron Payne, DL Alabama The Redskins direly need a guy that can play 0 for them and well. 14. Green Bay Packers - Minkah Fitzpatrick, DB Alabama The Packers take the value here. 15. Arizona Cardinals - Josh Jackson, CB Iowa The Cardinals take a long, hard look at Lamar Jackson and opt to take another Jackson instead. Carolina Panthers - Sam Hubbard, DE Ohio State Panthers need to rebuild its edge rusher situation. 25. I think he wants a 15 year answer at the position so he can just sit back and collect a check. I'd be a bit surprised if the Broncos just sit back and hope for the best, as horse is usually aggressive.
