Not a fan myself. I keep seeing him go high in a lot of mocks but I'm not seeing it. I keep thinking I'm missing something. Lack of sack production should be a major red flag even with the injuries, which is another flag. No bend whatsoever. Maybe he'd do better in a 4 man front as at least he's a good tackler.

The signing of Tyrod Taylor allows Darnold at least a year to develop. 

 

2 –NY Giants - Saquon Barkley  RB  Penn State

 

It’s looking more and more like Barkley will be the pick here.  Unless they are overwhelmed with a trade offer.

 

3 –NY Jets (from Indianapolis) –Baker Mayfield  QB  Oklahoma

 

The Jets trades picks 6, 37, 49, and a 2019 round 2 for this pick.  They love Mayfield and have spent a lot of time on him.

 

4 –Cleveland (from Houston) – Bradley Chubb  EDGE  NC State

 

Dorsey takes the best defender in the draft.

 

5 – Denver - Quenton Nelson G Notre Dame

 

Denver gets a major oline upgrade.

 

6 –Bufffalo (from Indianapolis. from NY Jets) –Josh Rosen  QB  UCLA

 

Buffalo trades picks 12 and 22 to move up for their QB.

 

7 – Tampa Bay – Derwin James  S  Florida St

 

Tampa can’t pass on James.

Ward a big upgrade to the secondary.
