Legend of AC 269
Hitchens is a sideline-to-sideline guy with lots of speed; now we got a thumper in Ragland and a burner in Hitchens. Love it!

Which is fine because these are very young second contract guys, and the Chiefs are pretty much cap rich starting in 2019. As long as this years numbers are low, no issue. KCJohnKC 33
These two boys excite the hell out of me. Hard to see DJ go and hope he comes back in a coaches role but I couldn't ask for a better tandem to replace him with.

Pay off guaranteed monies as much as you can this and next year and make the cap hits less expensive down the road if we can. We will need to look at extending others next season or right before to maintain the group and keep it going with draft and FA.

Tyreek and chris Jones will be expensive.
Mloe68 1,521
Cowboys coaches and players agree Hitchens was their most underrated defender. Great locker room guy, leader on defense and can flat cover. https://sportsday.dallasnews.com/dallas-cowboys/cowboys/2017/08/28/anthony-hitchens-underappreciated-tell-dallas-cowboys-teammates-coaches
liquidfriend 1,151
A signing like this makes a real disappointment that they fired Gary Gibbs. He can cover, hit hard and plug gaps. A definite 3 down player, but his instincts need to improve in order to become an elite LB. Still a quality signing and not bad price wise. DieHard 2,061
My favorite part of his game is shedding blocks. I hate when a player gives up because he is locked up with an O lineman.

We are in Nickle soooo much ... even when it’s an obvious running down. Sutton is more the problem than personnel/talent. If he’s still calling the D we’re going to be screwed. It’s 2003 all over again.

Perhaps Sutton ran nickle so much because he was compensating for other deficiencies...IDK. I do know until last year we had a Top ten scoring defense. the previous years with Sutton which I am okay with. Berry coming back will help a lot. Adding Hitchens and Fuller...getting Ford back. Pick up a player here or there...we just might be okay.
