And are going to start calling him a bust if he doesn't put up over 4k yds and 30 touchdowns and less than 10 picks a season! You got a second year QB you spent two 1st on who has shown he is ready to take the next step and get his lumps out of the way. You are not going to sit him and waste a year. If you don’t trade Smith now, you get nothing for him.I believe Aaron Rodgers was drafted in the 1st round and sat for 3 years making a hell of a lot more than Mahomes. Now grant it the Chiefs gave up ONE first rounder for Mahomes but Rodgers cost more against GB for 3 years than Mahomes would have for 2 years.
