Really loved his rookie season and never seems to have reached his potential. He could make huge strides next to Berry and our DB coaching has been better than average. dhitter 1,424 Posted March 20, 2018 Share Posted March 20, 2018 The vast majority of players who protested just a couple of years ago are now either out of the league, unsigned or with a different team than where they were. If it is true that the owners are refusing to sign free agents who protested the national anthem then I would not expect Clark Hunt to allow Reid to get a deal in KC. Just throwing it out there. I'm not saying this to reopen the debate about the protests. Just that it seems like a strong possibility and therefore likely negates Reid from coming to the Chiefs under any deal.
