College players linked to the Chiefs post combine

Recommended Posts

Was Hill on the list two years ago? Yet, the Chiefs interviewed the heck out of him before the draft and did extensive background checks. I'm a little unimpressed by some of these lists.

Yes. And I'm even more unimpressed with your unimpression of these lists.

All are combine interviews only but we do select it seems from this group and some are selected later too in other rounds.

2017 was the trade up for Mahomes and probably shook it all up but we did interview him.

2016 Chris Jones. In 2016, the Chiefs formally met with defensive end Chris Jones at the NFL Combine, and he ended up being their first pick that year.

TE Jordan Akins had a formal meeting with the Chiefs at the combine, and now he's gonna have a private workout...

UCF TE Jordan Akins says he's traveling to Kansas City for a private workout with the #Chiefs in a few minutes. He worked out for the Saints and Chargers already. He didn't run a 40 because of his injured hamstring.

Looks like they might like this guy, and he's the first player to have a formal at the combine and now meet them for a private workout.

It's also interesting that the Chiefs have now had private workouts with three Kansas State players in DJ Reed, Bryon Pringle and Dorance Armstrong. How long as it been since a Kansas State player has signed with the Chiefs? I've heard it's been quite a while.

Dorance Armstrong is KU not KSU. I get the confusion though as everybody forgets they still have a football team.

Was just gonna post about this, best prospect thus far to go see the Chiefs. I guess they must think he might drop within striking range!!!.

If he somehow falls to 2nd I wouldn't rule out a trade up. Would boost the secondary immediately.
