Chiefswinitall 60
Trade with our future 2nd rounder? How about keep our 2nd and trade using one of our 3rd and future 2nd to get another 2nd in this years? What do you think?
DieHard 2,061
Personally I hate to lose a pick. If someone they like falls, I bet they try to move up. Can’t argue that it was a good move with Hunt.
jetlord 10,208
Not in favor of it just for the sake of moving up. Like Diehard explained, moving up for a specific player makes sense but that should happen during the draft itself. Even the staff has little clue how the draft will fall after the first round or so. liquidfriend 1,151
They could probably get into the late first with the Rams 2nd (will be valued as a late 3), their own current 2nd and the Redskins 3rd. Would really grenade the draft.
Biggjliv4 1,292
I think it will cost next year's 1st plus this year's second to move up into the first. Just doesn't seem worth it, painful enough not having a 1st this year and it could be middle round or higher next year due to 1st year qb and questionable defense. xen 1,010,219
Depends on where in the first. Big difference between the middle and end of first. Also how much does the team want to move down? Too many questions to say. But generally i am in favor of more not less picks.

Would really grenade the draft. This is exactly what I thought as far as value too. And I completely agree, although it sure sounded like Veach was very interested in doing this. Having 5 picks rounds 2-4 is super valuable for potential starters and much needed roster depth.
