Vermeil tried that in the no punts made by either team, against Indy too, and we saw how that ended up. I do think we have a better defensive team than that one though. gochiefsgo 380 Posted April 18, 2018 Share Posted April 18, 2018 It’s looking like with former running backs' coach Eric Bieniemy being named Offensive coordinator that the Chiefs intend to rely on a stable of running backs this year. I think they keep at least 4 of these guys and use them to sustain longer drives and keep the defense off the field for as long as they can.
