Breeland Speaks, the second-round pick, was able to get a lot of pressure on the QB but keep a couple things in mind: The Chiefs were working without pads and the guy charged with blocking him had never seen anyone with his skills

.

Kahlil McKenzie, the sixth-round pick, worked mostly at left guard, as the Chiefs said he would. But he also did some work at center.

Things were ragged at times, no surprise given that everyone showed up just the day before. As coach Andy Reid said, it's a win if the offense "is able to get out of the huddle and run the play that's called.''

If you're looking for an underdog to make the roster based just on this practice, you could do worse than cornerback Channing Stribling. A tryout player from Michigan, Stribling had interceptions on back to back plays.

if you were wondering why we didn't sign UFA Florida State corner Tavareus Mcfadden , it's because he wanted $70,000. 49er's signed him.

I would think it's more because he's too slow to play press man for us. Probably much better suited for san fran's cover 3 zone d.

If they were high on the guy I don't think 70K would be too much for a CB at this point. We'll probably spend more on vet minimum. Besides paying a RB 30K with so many on the roster probably shows that Veach is wiling to spend for some decent UDFAs.
