FANATIC 852
Eagles released SLB Mychal Kendricks. Kendricks was designated as a post-June 1 release, clearing $6 million in cap space while leaving behind $1.6 million in dead money. The move comes after the Eagles (again) failed to find a trade partner for their two-down thumper. Kendricks wanted to play all three downs. Going on 28, Kendricks had one of his best seasons in 2018. Provided he's healthy — Kendricks is recovering from an ankle scope — he won't be on the open market for long. Linebacker is a position of need for the Eagles.
SEMO 6,812
We already have a 2 down thumper.
FANATIC 852
We already have a 2 down thumper. Until the next injury. Good player, depth and again maybe a reasonable 1 year deal.
Balto 723
I'd love to see us sign him but I'm thinking we won't pay him as well as another team.
DieHard 2,061
We need a backup ILB but for backup money. Doesn’t seem like Match dot com would put us together. But yes, for the right price. Hell yes.
sith13 1,746
Would be a great signing IMO. We aren't as deep at ILB and injuries could happen. However I think someone will pay him more than we can. There's already very little flexibility at cap and I don't think Veach stretches it out for anything other than DB unless there's an injury. Iluvhouse24 1,808
Kendricks is good. He also will expect to start and get paid that way, which he should. Those are 2 things we are not going to be able to offer him here.
FANATIC 852
We see winning teams make it work when they are going for it. Pats Packers etc. If KC thinks this is the year then you get deals done. If they are really planning on 2019 as the year, as many of us believe, then they do not make a deal. Pats do this every season and somehow it works out. dhitter 1,424
Agree with the notion that he will be a starter and thus be paid accordingly. That rules the Chiefs out.
Lamardirts 2,114
Hard to believe we would use what little cap we have for a backup when our starting Og, DB and even Dline could use an upgrade with potential cuts.
DieHard 2,061
Yep. Agreed. Save it for cuts.
DieHard 2,061
I don’t think we will be as flush as we think next year either. Need to redo Watkins, resign Morse, hopefully Nelson or Amerson earn a contract. Not sure who else is up for FA.

I really don't see any must keeps right now, outside of ERFA tagging Butker.
