Game 1:

1. Tyreek Hill - Punt Return TD, Recieving TD (might as well have been rushing TD), big plays.

2. Patrick Mahomes - If 2 of the 4 TDs weren't more than glorified handoffs, Mahomes would get it this game. Deep passes, good decisions, only one non-Hail Mary Pick risk, etc.

3. Ron Parker - All over on defense, put downs, tackles, and the interception.

4. Anthony Hutchins - I don't know defense well, but 15 tackles, 2 for losses.

5. Anthony Sherman - 36 yard TD turned close game to two score game.

6. De'Anthony Thomas - TD was fast and capitalized on the fumble.

7. James Winchester - Fumble recovery helped put game away.

8. Dee Ford - 4 QB hits, 1 sack, 1 tackle for loss.

9. Kareem Hunt - Lead the team in rushing, but pretty quiet game.

10. Spencer Ware - 40 yards on 4 touches.

My MVP is the LA receivers. We wouldn't have won this game without their drops. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

We basically shut down the offense in the 4th quarter.  I think if we needed to we could have scored 50.  That said in a different game that could easily be the difference.  We’re gonna have to fix secondary before I really believe we are a contender.

If they had made every catch KC may have been more aggressive on offense.  Maybe ran the ball more. You can not determine an outcome based on what ifs.

That's probably a pretty fair assessment.  But I think some O Line should get props for giving Mahomes a mostly clean jersey against a pretty good Chargers defense.

If the o-line were an option, what do you put them in third in the first game?

Game 2:

1. Patrick Mahomes -  If you don't know why, you're stupid.

2. Travis Kelce -  Two touchdowns, including The game winner. I also think that he deserves something for game one probably in blocking.

3. Sammy Watkins - 100 yards receiving, 31 rushing, decoy help, and some credit for last game breaks any tiebreaker.

4. Tyreek Hill - 90 yards receiving, 1 TD, no muffed punts, no kick off returns due to respect. (I didn't see all of the kick off returns so I presume that they were kicked away from him.)

5. Kareem Hunt - 75 yards, recieving TD, safety not crucial.

6. Chris Conley -  Not much overall, but a touchdown is always a big deal.

7. OLine for protection.

8. De'Anthony Thomas - 48 yard punt return.

9. Andy Reid -  I'm not really giving any points to coaching staff, but I don't want to leave it blank.

10. Anthony Hutchins - Didn't want to give much defensively when you allow 37 points.

How about toub for putting DAT short on the first punt return?  These guys are a step ahead right now.  Fun to watch!!!

Should I kick out Hutchins because no one on defense should be there? Having a great team makes it hard to rank players and it's hard to know who should be included. It's crazy that I want to include more than 10. I mean, the MVP is obvious, but those I want to mention is higher than 10.

I don't remember Watkins getting a TD, but he certainly play a big part in the win.  Hutchins played well.  Can't blame him if the secondary is so weak and he can't cover to make up for it.

You're right. I knew I was missing a TD, so I think I put Robinson's TD there. Ugh. It's a good thing to have so many touchdowns you forget one.

Game 3

1. Patrick Mahomes: 300+ yards, first downs with his feet, and oh, 3 touchdown passes with no interceptions.

2. Travis Kelce: Even though he didn't score a touchdown, I feel he did more than anyone besides Mahomes for this team.

3. Kareem Hunt: Not only two TDs, but the first two, setting the tone, not fumbling the ball, and preventing a letdown.

4. Sammy Watkins: 75 yards of offense and a TD.

5. Justin Houston: Tiebreakers go to him to make up for previous lack of mention in other games. Teams still have to account for him when he doesn't have two sacks like he did today.

6. Chris Conley: Third most important touchdown gave us the cushion we needed.

7. Demetrius Harris: TD. Probably too high on this list, but assuming positives in other games.

8. Tyreek Hill: 56 yards in offense, a few opportunities missed that weren't his fault. Recovered Watkins fumble.

9. Ron Parker: Most tackles in the game at 7.

10. Andy Reid: Think he should get mention every time we win.

  • 2 weeks later...

Game Four:

1. Patrick Mahomes: 2 TDs and game winning drive, comeback.

2. Kareem Hunt: 119 yards rushing, 54 Receiving, game winning TD.

3. Travis Kelce: Most receiving yards, TD, blocking.

4. Eric Murray: Ended up punting after interception, but without that, maybe the Donkeys score? Putting him this high also because of his total six tackles. He hasn't been listed yet this year and so I little bit of this is make up.

5. Tyreek Hill: 54 yards receiving, 37 return yards, decoy on the rest.

6. Demetrius Harris: 59 yards receiving, especially on 3rd and 7 on the last drive.

7. Mitchell Schwartz: Protection. I admit I don't know enough about the OLine.

8. Kendall Fuller: 7 tackles.

9. OLine in general.

10. Andy Reid: Will always at least get one in every win.

(Will come back later.)

You left out a very capable right tackle who protected your MVP.
