I know it doesn’t matter, but I fixed Game 10 (Arizona) to give more credit to the defense (even though Arizona doesn’t have a great offense). I also moved down Colquitt to get one point so he is mentioned for the year, and mentioned for the game, but, I think it is so 2015 to be giving any MVP votes to the punter. Dave Taub, that’s a different question. He deserves a lot of credit and we have a good butt-kicker and punter. It’s just with this offense, I don’t want to waste points.

Dollars to donuts Mahomes doesn't win the league MVP.

Without any major separation I believe the voters will give it to Brees based on age.

Unfortunately I believe some voters will look at Mahomes as being young and will get other chances at winning the MVP whereas Brees is at the end of his career.

So he better look good against the Rams or his MVP chance is gone.

I also think Brees may get it. I didn't know he's never won it, that surprised me.

No way if the stats stay the way they are

He is 10 TDs behind, 500 yards behind  which Mahomes leads the NFL in  but .mahomes is just 2nd in QBR behind Brees. If all stays the same and our schedule is harder I dont gou can ignore the job. Mahomes has done in his first year as a starter

Conspiracy theorist here, the NFL funnels the outcomes the way they want. SB wins for teams that the home state or city has fallen on hard times or for veteran players that have been the face of a franchise getting ready to retire, etc.

Drew Brees, probably one of his last years will get the MVP even if Mahomes breaks the TD record and throws for over 5000 yds. They will focus on QBR and that he had to play with X, Y and Z WR.

I really hope I'm wrong.

You know, it says that the last nine MVPs played in the Super Bowl lost since 2001.

But technically, since none of them have won, all MVPs have lost in the playoffs. All of them, right? It just depends on whether they lost in the Super Bowl or before.

Chris Jones is ranked way too low.

Thanks. I will bump him up over the rest of the season. I am not good at knowing the defensive impact or oline players. I think I probably gave points to Dee Ford when I should have given them to Jones. Probably the same to Conley when his production was more of a biproduct of Mahomes and Co.

At 29 I'm wondering if Bailey can snatch himself a decent FA deal. Would be nice to get something like a 4th for a guy that's seen as an afterthought. He's not having a bad season in terms of pass rush, which obviously not enough but could fool some GMs.
