FANATIC 852
From Broncos Site #5 Monday night is going to be a bloodbath if they don’t fix things in a hurry Anyone who has watched the Chiefs over the first three weeks should be shaking in their boots for this upcoming game with them next week. Denver has barely squeaked out wins over teams who are collectively 0-5 right now, and lost to a Ravens team who was smacked around by the Bengals. If they have any prayer of slowing down the red hot Chiefs, they need to do some serious adjustments this week. Which means coaches have to coach better, and players have to execute, both of which have been in short supply so far this season.
FANATIC 852
Keenum has always been a PIck Machine. Last year was a fluke in Minnesota. He is a not nearly as talented version of Mahomes. Likes to run around and then makes bad decisions. Of course he is up against the KC defense so he likely has a good game. Still how do they stop KC? Early prediction. Chiefs 34 Donks

They only scored 20 on OAK at home and OAK's defense is even worse than the Chiefs. 37-20 KC
sith13 1,746
Mahomes could break the record for distance in the air at some point in Mile High. I don't think they have the offense to match us but with our defense anything is possible.

Obviously, the guy didn't watch the Thursday night game between the Ravens and Bengals.....stupid statement. Broncos scored 2 tds in the first 5 minutes- blocked punt- 5yd td run...(Illegally) Blocked FG attempt - led to a 30yd TD run 2 plays later. Broncos offense didn't due shit the rest of the game. Defense was down 2CB's and the their RB was ejected. Keenum looked like dog doo....
FANATIC 852
Oddsmakers opened the Kansas City Chiefs as 4.5-point favorites in the upcoming Monday night game against the Denver Broncos. That also happens to be exactly the point spread for the game shown by FiveThirtyEight.com’s Elo predictions model, too. But unlike the FiveThirtyEight point spread, the betting line will change as the week progresses, depending on how much money comes in for each team. So far, the line has dropped. It’s down to 4 points in some sportsbooks — and is as low as 3.5 in others — suggesting that the betting public is putting more money on the Broncos in the early wagering. jetlord 10,210
Lots of Denver fans seem pretty down on their team, but that may be a reaction to the poor display yesterday against the Ravens. To be realistic, Denver is a tough place to play and the calls seem to go the Broncos way. (the calls went KC's way yesterday in Arrowhead), it's not reasonable to expect Mahomes to throw four TDs and no INTs every game, and Denver's defense is still very good although their secondary is less than last year. Chubb hasn't had much impact according the the Denver boards, but Miller is still Miller. I expect the score to be in the range of 27-24 and we may see how Mahomes handles a fourth quarter comeback. Replay of last years game in Denver? Maybe.

I only meant that Denver players get paid also, and every player should think they will win each time they line up, does that not seem logical? Does it seem logical I'm supposed to read your mind and know what you meant? I can only respond to what you post about the broncos not being the least bit worried when one players is quoted talking about the secondary issues.... So yes, obviously they're going to show up and expect to play (common sense) but to say they're not the least bit worried is clearly not the case. The logic question was not posed to my first post, but rather the supposition that all professional players adopt the attitude of winning each and every game. I'm not sure the Harris quote defines worry, but it is nice to know that at least one player admits a deficiency .

Mloe68 1,521
Huge game for Denver and the rest of the AFC West for that matter. We could have a two game lead on the division with only one divisional road game left. I expect a big effort from them especially on defense where nobody is going to overlook Mahomes and our offense any more. Im interested to see how Mahomes and the team in general respond to actually being behind because we have never trailed in three games. Pretty amazing for such a young team. Then again why would I ever want to trail in a game. And then there's the fact we haven't lost in Denver since 2014. So far my opinion of AFC is that Chiefs/Jags matchup in week 4 just may be AFC Title game preview. Broncos can change that narrative and make division a dog fight with a win. Hard not to really start thinking about what's possible in 2018 if we win.
sith13 1,746
Keep in mind that this is a division game and a lot of Broncos fans think of us as their biggest rival. So they will motivate the team better.
Thegoatee 1,781
If we go 4-0 to start the year, having 3 road games and 2 against division rivals, we are in great shape to make a run. I hope the removal of Alex Smith means we also don’t have inexplicable games like last year, losing to all those New York teams. The NFL did us no favors in how we started the schedule, but here is hoping Denver is as inept as week 17 last year. If Mahomes can beat them with backups, maybe he can crush them with starters. Hard not to really start thinking about what's possible in 2018 if we win. Yeah, my first thoughts were that Denver just couldn't afford to lose this game while the Chiefs could. But if one looks at the schedule, the Chiefs need this a lot. Why? Because they have a much harder list of remaining games than the rest of the division. Because they won last year, they play JAX and NE while the rest of the division plays their counterparts in those respective divisions. So while KC gets NE, Den gets the Bills or Jets. Add to that, LAC plays at SFO the week after the Niners lose their QB. Not complaining, just pointing out that the remarkable 3-0 start doesn't mean a huge advantage. It's just part of a long season. DieHard 2,061
I think we should roll them. There always that time when you are reading your press too much and the other team is tired of being embarrassed. We saw that with the Vikes game. I don’t really think it happens though. Handswarmer 645
Denver's Defense is suspect- LBers got continuously sucked into Play Action against the Ravens, CB's were beat all over the field...their pass rush was neutralized and I am sure that Andy is pouring over the tape to tell Sutton what he should do to copy the Ravens Oline scheme. Unless he's just Sutton....

Mloe68 1,521
Sounds like the Broncos played most of that Raven game without two corners who will be back this week. (Jones and Brock). That'll help but they are still looking at guys on the open market including David Amerson so clearly there's an issue. Biggest thing is they get the RB Lindsey back after being ejected in the second quarter. Keenum needs that kid to take pass rush pressure of him and control clock.
