In Dee Ford news he did practice today.

Weve got to get close to a full season from him. If so he will pile up 10-12 sacks, help us win games now and likely get a 3rd round comp pick in 2020. If Tanoh isn't ready to start next year we might as well write him off.

It proves an great QB with  good offense,  todays nfl rules, can torch a good defense all day long. Its almost becoming flag football.

KC now has that elite QB and a great offense. I am so done with worrying about the D.  Its more important for the majority of teams that do not have an elite QB. New World for US KC Fanatics.

Maybe Reid and Veach are more prescient than we thought.  They spent the money on a guy (watkins) that helps injury proof the offense more, rather than on defense, knowing the defense needed more work than 1 free agent.

Dee Ford practiced again today so he should be good to go Monday night.  Not sure how much he'll play, but it would be nice to see if the Chiefs can get more reps for Tanoh in this game.

*knocks on wood* Other than Eric Berry the Chiefs haven't had any injury issues which is a blessing considering the amount of injuries to key players this team has had to deal with since the 2nd half of 2013.

No doubt. I injuries in the trenches have been bad. I thought no 2015 all 3 starting Dlinemen went down for all or most of the season. Oline has never got to play a season together.

Ya, but injuries to Houston, Berry, Charles and Johnson really hurt the Chiefs' chances of winning more games.

Missing 2 years with injuries won't look good in FA so he's probably trying to play through the pain. Hopefully he doesn't make things worse and stays healthy.

Hopefully we don't resign him...I'm soooo done with Ford and his "glass chin".

I don't think they are considering it. Ford is a pure pass rusher who basically failed at every other aspect of the position. He probably gets a decent deal from a 4-3 team but would be surprised to see him in 3-4 as more than a backup.

I wonder if Ford would take a team friendly deal to be just a pass rush specialist??

Doubtful. He has been suffering through injuries all his career. He'll want to get paid as much as possible. So far he had a lame rookie deal and only real money he made was the 5th year option.

If he keeps getting injured  he may not have a choice. I doubt it too many teams will shell out a big contract for a one dimensional player that's hurt all the time.
