Chiefsfan1963 1,101
Unfortunately this post, as special as it is, will be short lived since it's not putting down a player or coach which seems to be the common theme. Negativity and sensationalism is what drives people today. Someone or an organization that does something good for someone or a group of people tend to get shuffled to the back page real fast. xen 1,010,220
Well, things like this tend to die quickly because there's not much to say or argue over. Still cool to see.
reesebobby 5,663
Very cool. He seems like a great kid. Makes one reflect on how fortunate to be born healthy.

Mloe68 1,521
Very cool story! Reminder to keep winning and losing in a proper perspective and just enjoy the ride. That kid is overcoming adversity that really matters and I’m proud of this organization for recognizing it.
jetlord 10,210
Along the same line, did anyone else see the Ohio State/Purdue game Saturday. They had this Boilermaker fan who has cancer and is in hospice at the game in the press box wrapped up in blankets because it was his final wish to see the Boilermakers whip the Buckeyes. Very inspirational and the network overplayed it somewhat, but still riveting. Just added to what the guy's team was doing on the field.
