Ball control, RPO's and run it down your throat type of offense: Best defense for Ryan, Mahomes and Rivers is to keep them off the field. Would be the smart move, but we've seen teams make really dumb decisions at QB.

A whopping 13 minute possession advantage.

Maybe Balt plays Fucco and Jackson. May need to. Jackson likely follows the RG3 injury story.

To be fair, the only teams that beat us did so by scoring lots of points and beating us in a shootout. Not to say someone couldn't beat us with a grind it out plan, but those that have tried can't seem to score enough points to beat us.

NO does not have as many weapons .

But it takes teams with pretty special offenses to be able to pull this off for the most part. If you don’t have those type weapons then keeping our offense off the field makes a ton of sense. But those teams better finish drives and get TDs in the red zone because FGs won’t work against us.
reesebobby 5,663
As bad as our defense has been, they have kept people out of the end zone early. And we've scored early. We've taken a little of that away by playing with big leads generally.

The Cowboys beat the Saints because the DL owned the Saints line and Brees can't handle pressure like that at nearly 40.
Mloe68 1,521
Follow up on Sammy. According to Andy Reid the foot is better than it was before the Rams game but as a precaution they are sitting him this week. I'd go ahead and rest him til the Chargers game. That's too big to sit and then he gets 9 days off.
