Legend of AC 269
Somewhat lost in all the talk about the deficiencies in the secondary or with the ILBs, is the fact that the Chiefs are tied with Vikings for most sacks in the league with 31. The Rams have 26. Ford, Jones, and Houston haven proven formidable when all healthy, with Dee Ford and Chris Jones both having monster years. No way we let Ford get away. So with this pressure the coverage should continue to improve. Helps to have early leads and often by 2 scores. Fresh Houston and Sorenson should ad pressure and depth/rotational rest. reesebobby 5,663
Not to take away from their play, but we have made teams one dimensional by playing with big leads all season. It's a lot easier to get sacks when you don't have to respect the run so much. Teams have passed against us 419 times this year. 42 attempts per game. Most in the league. dksww 484
if you're looking at nfl.com or espn.com for the sack totals, those do not include yesterday's games. going into yesterday's games, the Chiefs were tied with MIN, PT and GB with 31 sacks. KC had 5 yesterday, so they have 36 now. MIN didn't play and I know GB had 6 sacks in their game, not sure about PIT.
Biggjliv4 1,292
Sacks are great, but that's just one part of the game. Doesn't help we get a sack only to get gashed a play or two later. I'll take them, but well balanced offense's will eat us alive like the Rams, Chargers, and Saints when we play them in the SB. Glad our O is unreal

Still, the pash rush has been extremely effective this year.
sith13 1,746
Not sure if the rankings mean much. We are 5th in most yards given up in the air and 29th in total defense as well as 28th in pass defense. We force the teams to play from behind which helps to put up some nice pass rush numbers but they still move the ball in the air with ease. Just another indicator that most of our players are one dimensional and can't really perform as a unit.
Calichief 3,017
The pass rush has been a great surprise. its really really good

Glad our O is unreal I feel games vs rams, saints we are going to be killed by the run games. We will need to win the turnover battle to win. Could be a game this week where the rams don't punt. sith13 1,746
Bailey seems to be the weakest link and even he has been very disruptive. A few critical 3rd down stops would go a long way against the Rams.
