They have not faced this passing attack. Should be a fun game.

Nope- just the Saints (#11)scored 24, Steelers 2x (#2) avged 17+ per game and Atlanta (#5) scored 9 pts, 7 which came in garbage time (4:18 4th qtr)- out of the 4 games they won 2. Should have won 3.

Only one of those i would put on par with our offense is the Saints.  Pitt is much less dynamic without Bell, and Atlanta is just a MESS this year.

The Chiefs didn't show their offense without Hunt in the Raider game.  There just wasn't time to install it.  I think we'll see more short passes to Ware and Williams next Sunday compared to yesterday.  The Chiefs haven't faced a defense as good as BAL in a while so unless Watkins can come back, they may have trouble running up the score.  At the same time, don't expect Mahomes to miss three open receivers deep every week.  Not sure why the Chiefs are such heavy favorites at this point considering their inability to stop the run.  Gotta hope the Arrowhead magic kicks in for the Chiefs' defense.

Or Hill to drop two passes possibly three depending on who you talk to.

One was off his finger tips and was a very difficult catch.  Also Mahomes underthrew Deiter on what could have been a TD.  The good news about missing three deep passes is that the Chiefs seem to score anyway.  One incompletion doesn't necessarily stall a drive.

Didn't see the game but was listening to it on the computer. Holthus and Gammon made it sound like he should have caught them.

He should have. Tyreek had his worst game of the season without any doubt.

One, he should have caught.  The other, it seemed overthrown and he might have laid out and had a better chance, but it was off his finger tips.  Fouts, who was slamming everything the Chiefs did yesterday, said he thought Mahomes forced Hill to change directions enough to cause the pass to be out of reach.  Need to see the replay to judge.  Bottom line is that more accurate throws by Mahomes would have resulted in three deep completions.  Not complaining about PM, he had a good game.  We expect a lot of a first year starter because he's shown he can do it.

I really noticed the negative Fouts yesterday too. He was questioning every positive play the Chiefs made. He needs to get over the fact that his former team (the Chargers) can't beat the Chiefs and TRY to be a little objective. It was starting to get embarrassing.

He has been abysmal for years.  I can’t remember a time he’s not anti Chiefs.  When we weren’t good he floated in our demise and now he just can’t handle the fact their qb is a year or two away from being done and ours is just getting started.    Should be a fun decade!

I realize facts don’t matter to some of you though.

When they played the Bills #31, Bengals twice #27, Titans #28, and Raiders #22. So 5 of the teams they played live in the cellar regarding offenses. The ones in the top 10 they lost to, actually split with Pittsburgh and Carolina was #11, another loss.

What does it matter how high your D is ranked when roughly half your games were against the offensively challenged and the majority of the games you lost were ranked 14th or higher?

You're still living in the Defense wins Championship mentality and the NFL has changed that in the name of rankings and revenue.
