The one he made wasn't a good snap either. I get it, they aren't all going to be perfect, but an off snap really screws with a kickers timing and throws everything out of whack. December 25, 1971 3 missed FGs - 29, 32 and 42 (blocked). The 32 yarder at the end of regulation would have beaten the Dolphins who ended up representing the AFC in the SB. His first, a 48-yarder, was the longest field goal in a Super Bowl for 24 years, & In 1994, he was selected to the NFL's 75th Anniversary Team.
