Why start Berry and Sorenson both are SS types.  And berry is much better up at the line in run defense and covering TE's. 

We should have put Lucas at FS. Especially if we were going with young guys in the secondary

They have been using Berry as single high guy prior to the injury and it worked. I think that's the intention again once he's 100% but Sorensen is definitely the wrong choice.

What does it matter if Berry can’t play the whole game?  A big , maybe the biggest problem on this defense is their reliance on berry.  He’s played five more minutes of football than any of us in the last two years.  Not finding a suitable replacement for a guy that’s had multiple season ending injuries is asking for trouble. Everyone says it’ll get better when berry comes back, but he still can’t play a whole game.  How long until he’s on IR again ?  You can’t elevate those around you from the sidelines

Even if he comes back 100% and stays healthy for his career he's still one man. The Seahawks simply focused on avoiding Berry and did fine. We need to add more bodies to the group and Safety. The attempt to get Thomas gives me hope that they are focusing on it this offseason.

Yea, halfway through the season.  They knew last summer berry wouldn’t be ready to start the season and rather than have a contingency plan they decided to wait for captain IR as if he was going to make a difference. Dorsey royally fucked us.
