Where was Chris Jones in stopping Seattles run game?

You can pretty much double team him. The other guys and LBs get eaten alive. I didn’t even realize Bailey was on the team still until he had a random sack a couple of weeks ago. Nnadi made one play and finally had a week he didn’t jump offside, but all these guys suck. The LBs are just running horizontal most plays looking for holes, never really filling them. Berry is literally the only guy yesterday and week before to crush a hole and tackle someone. The fundamentals of this group is worse than some pop warmer squads.

Teams can easily commit an extra guy to double whomever is lining up at the direction they will run. It's not like our LBs can rush to make the tackle. Hopefully replacing Bailey with a solid veteran against the run and adding an ILB that can tackle will shape the whole front 7.

If our Dline didn't make the stop it went for 5-6 yards easily.   Our ILB's do not attack a hole at all but rather sit back and get washed out by a lineman.   But its most of the D in regards to poor tackling.   The Dickson 3rd and 15 yard catch where he dove at his feet 8-9 short of the first down was a head scratcher.  Had he merely tied him up and waited for help he would have been 3-5 yards short easily a we would have gotten the ball back but that drive ended up giving them points.   We need to draft better tacklers or fire our DC and secondary coaches after the season because its still happening in week 16.
