damn that is a lot of $$ between Watkins & Berry to be sitting on the bench, think KC needs to make an injury settlement with EB and say sayonara

WR Sammy Watkins
OL Kahlil McKenzie
OL Jimmy Murray
S Eric Berry
RB Spencer Ware
TE Deon Yelder
LB Tanoh Kpassagnon

At least Watkins has made an on field contribution this year.  Berry has been the most expensive assistant coach in nfl history for two years.

Ridiculous that kpass is inactive while zombo isn't. This right here shows sutton bias to younger players and his inability to develop.  Kpass has shown more ability than zombo in his limited opportunities.

Frustrating

Do we even know why he’s inactive?  Is he hurt or is this a coach decision?

This is always overlooked in the shitiness of Sutton...

Suttons main weakness is his defensive scheme is too complex to learn. Simplied it means his own players are more confused than the offense they are trying to stop. Bad for playing young fast aggressive defense.

second weakness is he doesn’t comprehend how to adapt to playing with a high scoring offense on his side. When your offense is essentially unstoppable you have the luxury of gambling for turnovers and giving the ball back. Worse case scenario the gamble fails and mahomes gets the ball back and scores.

what they do is the worse case scenario where they play dont make a mistake football, slow the game down, ice our own offense, and create fewer possessions per game

its actually maddening

Unfortunately his favorite Sorenson is still starting

He has no one left. Either him or Parker. I am glad Ward is getting more time and Lucas is seeing time. Might be time to do some dumping next year of Zombo, Sorensen, Berry unless he restructures but if not gone the following year for sure etc. Go after what you can in FA like Thomas, be great to see him and Berry if at least for a year, and draft the rest.

Injuries are the only reason Zombo is here.  He was pulled off the couch to fill a spot.  Sorensen is a good special teams player and decent backup, but he’s not a starter.  That hinges on team relying too much on Berry, and his absence screwing over the back end of the defense. Depending on who is available in the draft, I’d be on board with taking a safety with our top pick, build the defense as if Berry is already gone, and if he suddenly gets healthy then great, you’ve got good depth.

At this point I would rather give young guys a shot in ST and playing than have Zombo in there before them. Practice squad players brought up or something because Zombo gives us shit.
