Spags players coming here?

First off a blocked kick is a huge game changing type play. Secondly Irving started and had seven sacks his last full season and actually made plays on special teams too. Hunt has made a living mostly as a role player and on special teams averaging over 200 snaps per season.

This isn’t brain surgery.  I’m asking for ANY type of contribution to justify Tanohs roster spot going forward rather than getting another free ride based on potential. It’s year three, he’s got a proven coach and a better system fit.  It’s time for Tanoh to produce or find someone else that can.

KPass had more sacks than Irving his rookie year, Irving played 15 games in 2016 and had 4 sacks, he had 7 sacks in 2017 and played 8 games, he has yet to play a 16 game season, the 7 sack season was his 3rd season, so lets let KPass play his 3rd season before you judge him.

Irving had 14 QB pressures his rookie year and two blocked kicks including one that clinched the game. And he improved dramatically in 2017 with 7 sacks in only 8 games.

Tanoh can contribute on special teams, he just hasn't.  You would expect at least some progression for year one to year two but he actually got worse.  And I'm not writing him off, I'm asking for some accountability and production from him in year three. And if he doesn't provide that we need to move on. Its that simple. No more free ride.

Again David Irving and Magnus Hunt were impact special team players. And again Tanoh has over 200 special teams snaps. His size isn’t an issue, it should be a strength with his athleticism.

All I’m saying is his free ride needs to end. Get him contributing or let’s move on. It’s a whole new ballgame with Spags so let’s hope he can get Tanoh going.

Looked like he was a bad fit for 3-4 all along. Could may be put on a few pounds to that big frame to move to DE but would still be a project guy. Right now I think he has a better shot at contributing somewhere along the line in 4-3, may be a run specialist DE or a sub packages DT. I think this will be make or break year for him and if someone surprised during camp Kpass might end up being the odd man out.
